Some of the best of BUCS social media leading into Super Bowl Sunday
Let's be clear. We've been waiting on that offensive explosion all year long.
We've seen glimpses TWICE.
One was the 1st half against Green Bay and the other was Week 17 against Atlanta.
The BUCS still haven’t been in a shootout all season.
If it happens in the Super Bowl on Sunday, it would be a welcomed surprise.
Embrace the brand.
You’ve just gotta love a good airport Twitter fight.
It’ll have to settle for the 2nd place behind the the Great Chicken Sandwich War Of 2019 though.
Just insane from r/buccaneers
The stuff you can’t measure can be anything you want to make up and/or believe.
Know ‘bout it.
To some, sports mean more than bragging rights.
The bond over sports is the strongest among many relationships.
It’s one that can serve as the catalyst to reunite old friend and mend broken fences. That’s why they say “Winning cures all”.
Oftentimes, sports can teach someone to keep hope alive.
Here, you can see it keep one’s spirit alive.
I thought these would’ve stopped being funny by now.
I was wrong.
I was dead wrong.
Whoa!(Joey Lawrence voice)
Arians is the loudmouth caricature of a head coach that’s, for some reason, thought of as an offensive genius and QB guru despite it being easily proven otherwise at every turn(Gruden).
Todd Bowles is the quiet, no-nonsense defensive coordinator that’s mostly responsible for the Team’s actual identity and success(Kiffin).
Brady is the game managing QB that’s actually done just enough on the field to not lose games(Johnson).
Deja Vu is real.
Here’s to hoping this glitch in the Matrix continues.
Without fail.
Even on a Super Bowl run.
As if success is transferrable by affiliation somehow.
Watch for the hook. That pigeon-toed strut ain’t foolin’ nobody.
Turf toe or not, Mahomes is flight-risk in the pocket.
This guy gets it.
This is some straight fact checking here.
It’s a damn good sight to see Fournette stepping up and standing up for McCoy.
I’ve not been a fan of McCoy on the field since early in the season.
But, his presence off the field was felt by all the RBs who have gone thru the transition from being a starter, to the backup, and later, to being a reserve.
That’s something I had not taken into account. At least, not to a high degree.
While I still feel like I’d rather see any of the other 3 RBs on the field, McCoy’s influence shouldn’t be dismissed.
And he most certainly shouldn’t be called a “non factor” without specificity or clarity of the role one is speaking of.
Like this wouldn’t be a real post?
C’mon.
It’s Florida.
And I’m all for it.
An oldie..but, a goodie.
Bigger than sports.
It’s a testimony.

And that’ll do it. Super Bowl-bound!
That picture is more symbolic than most will recognize.
The image of Buccaneers defense taking down a supposedly unstoppable offensive player.
A great headline.
Not exactly the story though.
Dickey V could be the mascot for any team.
This cat is genuinely into the BUCS. And super opinionated. Right or wrong.
And has been every season.
He doesn’t just pop up when things are good.
Unlike some former players.
One of the dopest images from the NFC Title Game.
All these damn onion in here….
Seriously….who the f*%# is in charge of the onions in here??
We understand.
Not bad for the “wOrSt tAcKLe in ThE NfL”.
3 in a row on the road.
And the last visiting stadium being the most iconic in the League.
It seems like a fairytale.
But ending the journey in victory at Raymond James Stadium would be an all-time classic ending to the season.

These here receipts are something else.
Got ‘em.
When it comes to the BUCS, the temporary/visiting fans are always the most vocal.
Funny enough, that’s how it’s been at the stadium for a while.
While I can’t blame anyone for having a favourite player and following his career, I do find it damn near repulsive to claim “adopting” the fandom of those who followed the Team long before.
I spoke to Hall Of Fame Buccaneers fan Big Nasty about the temporary fans coming about aboard on the podcast last year….”Come As You Are”.
He said it best. “Don’t be a jump-ship-chump.”
Win or lose, don’t go blaming everyone BUT you’re favourite player.
And don’t go thinking YOUR guy is what makes the Team go and nothing else.
This is probably the worst/best thing I’ve seen all season.
I actually hate that I saw it because it now stuck in my head. But, I also love that I can share it to some unexpected soul like an evil jack-in-the-box.
These fools will type anything to get a reaction.
“Lookin' like straight Bozos…”—-ICE CUBE
Some of those cats got their cheese up in a curd over that flag that had to come from 15 yards down field and into the frame on television.
The hold was egregious and obvious.
Johnson could’ve pressed assault charges after that fella tried to undress him like that.
The dilemma.
There were definitely a lot of BUCS fans that couldn’t stand the thought of Tom Brady prior to his joining the Team.
Lots of them claimed he had referees in his back pocket.
The same ones also looked at the referees to blame in damn near every BUCS loss ever.
So, there’s that.
Much like “The Office”, it’s just hard to go wrong with a “Simpsons” meme.

EA Sports is definitely the wrong tool to use when scouting opponents.
It’s a few steps behind PFF “grades”.
Riiiiiiiiiiight.
Don’t let these clowns back on the bandwagon.
Change the channel.
Oh, it’s true. It’s damn true.
The love/obsession with the QB position will have people making all kinds of caveats and loopholes and mental gymnastic reps until their last breath.
It’s hilarious.
For the record, if this is your first time here, there are no punches pulled for fan favourites. When they look bad, it’s pointed out. And this was the case with that walking liability at QB the previous 5 years. The writing was on the wall back in 2017 and fellow BUCS fans/followers hated me and all the facts that pointed to it….Here, Here, and Here.
These people exist. They are dangerous to themselves and others.
Approach with caution.
Facts won’t stop them. That will only enrage them.
Some people will believe anything they can think up.
Right on!
#Gravediggers
Straight killers on the low.
Know ‘bout it.
I’ll never forget just how much McCoy and David did together in Tampa on the way to this Super Bowl appearance.
Two top 5 players at their position and they didn’t get into the playoffs.
And both true franchise players on and off the field.
I wish they could’ve experienced this run together on the field.
It’s true.
Tell him “ Todd Bowles and that damn Defense.”
That damn SMB still trailing just a lil’. But he made it count.
Ha!
Serious business, Murphy-Bounting had a rough season. But he’s been making his presence known the last few weeks.
Hoping to see it one more time to close out the season.
Never entertain idiots.
Laugh at ‘em and move on.
If your favourite BUCS coverage isn’t talking about the defense, change the damn channel.
Better yet, come on outside for some fresh air.
Perfection.
If you didn’t see it coming, you weren’t paying attention.
Just like Poirier rendering McGregor defenseless.
All the hype was behind what McGregor did in the past and all the eyes that were on him. Poirier has been grinding hard for the last 5 years non-stop.
And even though he took a few tough losses and got set back by injuries, he was still well beyond average.
The organization just didn’t do anything to push him into the limelight.
But if you watched the fights leading into this one and saw what Poirier was bringing in this one that he didn’t have in the last one, you knew how it was likely to go.
If the talk ain’t about what the defense was doing versus Green Bay, then it ain’t real.
It’s filler.
And there’s plenty of that going around.
Carlton Davis talkin’ that $#*&.
Don’t kick a man when he’s down??
Don’t bother a man when he’s standing where you want to be unless you’re asking him how he got there.
EVERYBODY talkin’ that sh*t.
It’s contagious.
A straight up game changer in ALL facets of the defensive line.
Dude was coming in on passing downs rather the being the misclassified “run stuffer” clowns have continued parroting based on his physical stature before they ever watched a minute of game film on him a few weeks before the draft back in 2018.
The young fella took some lumps(read: ass whoopin’) in Round 1 against the Chiefs.
I FULLY expect things to be different in the rematch.
Remember the 1st time he took on Michael Thomas/Drew Brees? Remember the subsequent meetings??
Don’t be surprised to see him hit a front flip in the end zone on a pick-6.
The number of the gods!!!
MIKE GLENNON fans, rejoice!
It still hasn’t hit me yet. Once I make it back into town for Super Bowl week back in the area I called home for 17 years, it’ll settle in.

This 🤡 from r/buccaneers
“They gonna get ran through in the playoffs…..”
He lives.
The BUCS defense has been slept on most of the season. When they talk about the reasons BUCS aren’t favored in more games, it’s because of the defense and, particularly, the young secondary.
Once again, the defense disproved the rhetoric.
The star of the game knows what it’s all about.
Super or bust.
For the Children.
I was torn between wanting to rematch New Orleans to avenge the Week 9 embarrassment and hoping Drew Brees’ career ended on Nickelodeon buried in slime.
I’m good with watching him ironically pass the torch to JW3 with a 4-INT performance.
A story in 3 parts……
It’s crazy how much appreciation players get at various times.
It’s like people don’t pay attention.
The BUCS have always been a defensive Team first and foremost.
Don’t let anything else fool you.
It’s funny because it’s true.
It’s also painful.
Seriously…I love seeing the silly side of this dude.
For a guy that generally seems to take himself too seriously so often, it’s straight up hilarious to see him break character.

Flag On The Post: Postgame Edition vs Kansas City Chiefs
Troll or burner account??
And now, it feels like a Buccaneers December.
Every two years around this time, the calls for a coach’s head get louder.
Between Arians and Leftwich, I still look at Arians as the one with the most fault.
It’s his offense.
He has the power to veto offensive play calls.
He should know better than Leftwich.
And If he values giving Leftwich experience more then he does winning football games in this TIGHT window of opportunity a/k/a “Win Now” mode, he needs his @$$ whooped.
Same.
It’s just insane that it’s taken this long.
Since this is the longest period of time the BUCS have gone without a bye week, this may be an epiphany for me and some other fans to realize how the timing of a bye effects the Team.
How bored, blind, or desperate for attention must one be to watch Sunday’s game and this be the big takeaway?!
Check out my podcast this week for a top secret possible hot take on wannabe insiders.
I’ll be recording live at a location that may or may not be the spot where investors are in the beginning stages of thinking about entertaining the idea building a new multiplex in YBOR City OR Downtown Maitland.
I can’t say much here.
But tune in to the pod this week where I’ll probably say much less.
This KILLED me.
And I can’t stand Nick Wright and most things on ESPN.
I lost it when Romo went on about the wrong hot route being run by Evans while Brady still threw the ball in the direction he shouldn’t be going in for some reason.
And fans have parroted Romo’s thoughts to deflect from the Brady’s decision and place the blame completely on Evans. Regardless of Evans possibly running the wrong route, Romo’s focusing on him completely buried his first statement saying it was a bad throw by Brady.
Befuddling.
Ha!
If you’re an 80’s kid or older, you may get it.
I LOATHE the fact that Bowles somehow gets lumped into the absolute underwhelming work of the offensive coaching staff.
Of the 12 games, Bowles’ coaching has been the only constant.
The only thing fans can hand their hats on. It’s been the only thing close to dominant.
Regardless of the terrible decision to play with fire this past Sunday, Bowles can’t be put in the boat as Arians and Leftwich when it comes to the level of incompetency.
It’s not JUST the system.
It’s bad decisions too.
One exacerbates the other.
This hurts.
Did a thing from r/buccaneers
One of the greatest movies of all time.
One of the most infuriating offenses in recent memory.
One of the worst complaints in recent memory.
The only legit complaint about running the ball is the one that says the BUCS aren’t running it nearly enough.
It doesn’t matter if the BUCS have a tendency to run it on 1st down or not.
If done smartly, that’s just something else that should be to their advantage.
Should be running a play action immediately if defenses assume the run is coming on the first down.
Generally, I’m 100% against tagging players or coaches with this kind of foolishness.
It doesn’t matter how big the frustration gets.
There’s no sense in this kind of lashing out.
Now, for those foolish enough to antagonize fans with lecturing on how to accept wins and/or losses, they get exactly what they ask for.
The attention of other idiots.
Enjoy.
He did pull a Fred Sanford/Scrappy Doo on the sideline after the Pierre-Paul penalty.
They didn’t have to air that shot of Davis, dammit!
That Popeye’s employee is an American Hero, by the way.
My guy had a rough evening.
Can’t hide from that.
It doesn’t take away from his status as one of the best in League this year.
I’ll still put money on Davis every Sunday.
Serious business.
Nobody’s safe from comedy though..
While I tend to point to the QB when he takes a deep shot, the empty backfield on 3rd and 2 is football sin that should be punishable by (name something that causes excruciating pain).

Some of the best(and WORST) from Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans, player and reporters this week.
Next up, the “Arians sabotaged Brady” conspiracy.
The reactions to the perceived Head Coach/QB relationship always crack me up. If the QB is playing badly, it’s because the coach has it out for him.
Ali who?!!!! Just kidding.
Can’t wait to see Marpet back on the field so it can’t be used as an excuse as to why our QB didn’t Mike Evans’ way.
The “beggars can’t be choosers” approach to criticizing fans that want and expect the BUCS to be better has been one of the worst things going this season.
The BUCS may end up being a 10 or 11 win team this year.
This should be a 13 or 14 win team with its current build and looking at the 4 losses that have occurred so far.
How many times can anyone say the BUCS were just outplayed in those losses?
Okay.
About that Head Coach/QB relationship………….
While it’s never been all about the QB or any one player, you do expect your most trusted guys to come through in the clutch.
At the very least, you expect them to NOT be one of the weakest in big games and big moments.
Another week missing.
If you have any info, please come forward.
This thread is worth a read. Some physiology involved….
No bueno.
Brady’s got the pull and the smarts to not throw it deep.
Why he’s not using either is a mystery.
Serious business: If you see an adult male wearing one of these atrocities, please contact the local authorities and/or Chris Hansen.
This looks like something meant to attract small children.
I feel the same about this bait ‘n switch advertising of Ronald Jones.
But ain’t nothing cool about tagging players in these kinds of comments.
The CB looking at the WR ‘s face from 5 years away.
Or the CB looking at the WR’s back from 5 yards away.
Take your pick.
4 years ago on Thanksgiving Weekend, the BUCS upset the Seattle Seahawks holding their offense to 3 points.

Some of the best(and WORST) from Buccaneers fans, players, and reporters on social media following the loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
Uggghhhhhh…
I laughed.
And then I cried a lil’ bit.
Remember when fellow BUCS fans clamored for more prime time games?
How they thought that it was disrespectful to not be featured??
Now, it’s something fans are hiding from.
Something the coach addressed as an issue.
They’ve got Brady staying up past his bedtime to practice.
Crazy.
I SO wanted to be able to throw this back in his face.
This was right before kickoff too.
He called it.
At least, that’s one positive coming from the prime time games.
It’s always that one missing piece.
Had Marpet been around, the deep throw to Brate that got intercepted wouldn’t have been thrown.
Also, he probably could’ve pressed Cooper Kupp on the line of scrimmage.
This point CANNOT be overstated.
Back in April, Leftwich mentioned something along the lines of “all I gotta do is not get in the way”.
Well, Arians and Leftwich need to get in the way and direct the QB on what to do and keep him situated.
He can’t be allowed to pick his own shots at the detriment to the Team.
It’s not his fault for wanting to.
It’s Arians’ and Leftwich’s fault for allowing him to.
If you didn’t laugh, I’m sorry, Mrs. Brady.
Ummmmm…..
If only there was a plan in place.
Maybe someone that could be in charge of devising such a plan and then maybe even bring in someone else to manage it while he or she oversees it.
There’s gonna be lots of reactions and commentary like this until Brady goes on a long streak without turning the ball over.
And rightfully so.
This was the 2nd game in which the BUCS lost by 1 score and the QB gave the ball away multiple times.
The previous QB made a habit of this kinda play.
Time’s a wasting…..
Hey…It’s real.
Can’t keep turning a blind eye to bad play.
If you’ve been a fan of the BUCS before March of 2020, you should know this.
Well, most should.
There are hanger-ons still lurking.
The defense is definitely good enough to win.
But the sky is falling for those that allowed hype to build a reality for them that has yet to be realized.
Aiiight…this funny. I don’t care who you are.
The weekly focus on whether or not Brady takes the time to go shake the opposing QBs hand is hilariously painful.
The dude just through a game ending INT.
Had the camera caught him shaking hands and smiling with Goff, I would’ve walked Raymond James Stadium and choked the sh*t out of him in the name of Gerald McCoy.
Ehhhh…Looking at the Team’s “ceiling” isn’t the way to go.
At some point, reality has to set in and you have to address what the proverbial “floor” is.
And initially, that was winning the NFC South. Now, it’s hoping for a Wild Card.
Thangs done changed.
It’s pure insanity that this is even a focus.
But the Head Coach bought into the conversation.
So, it’s real. And it’s a real shame.
Also, an indictment on the Head Coach.
Right.
Criticism isn’t condemnation.
Getting comfortable with losses is getting comfortable with losing.
You’ve seen it before.
The infatuation with the QB.
Where nothing is EEEEEEEVER his fault.
It’s everyone and everything but him.
If the QB needs everyone and everything around him, why make a big deal about him being special in any kind of way??
Well, damn!

Some of the best(and WORST) from BUCS players, fans and reporters on social media.
This couldn’t be more perfect.
It was as solid as anyone could’ve predicted.
Gotta say it met expectations.
The hope is that this starts to carry over week to week. Actually, the hope was that it would’ve started a bit earlier.
That’s the difference between good teams and dominating teams.
Many fellow BUCS fans are satisfied with the former while some of us expected the latter.
Where do you stand?
Yea….the Social Media Team doesn’t sleep on what’s being said about the BUCS.
Pretty much.
Clown!!!
It’s a damn shame it took a generational highlight for some to recognize the capability of Ronald Jones.
Jones has been one of the hardest runners to bring down since he starting getting regular carries in Week 7 last season.
A quick look at his college games should’ve kept lots of the scrutiny that he’s received at bay.
Don’t sleep on him going forward.
And don’t expect 150 yard games every week. Just know that he’s a helluva weapon.
And yes, that includes in the passing game.
Let all that silly sh*t you bought into before you ever saw him play go.
That confirmation bias has killed many people’s expectations of him any time he doesn’t catch a ball cleanly or gets the ball knocked out of his hands.
You know….the TWO times that’s happened.
CALLED IT!
Sometimes you’ve got to admire your own work.
Those under 30 probably won’t get it.
These poor silly folks.
Both masquerading as fellow BUCS fans.
One used to have a BUCS logo in the profile.
And they’re still hoping to prove the former starting QB is everything they believe.

Doo-Doo Brown!!
No matter how you felt about the Defense, this was the only insurmountable stat line that mattered.
A familiar feeling.
With so much bad, it was hard to even put it into words or even categorize the level of awful we witnessed.
Whew!
It’s inexcusable to leave the game having looked as it wasn’t even possible to run the ball against an average rushing defense that was missing one of its best starters.
Yea. …
I’m thinking about suing Carrie Underwood and NBC myself.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.
You knew these cats existed.
Somebody’s gotta get fired when things don’t go the way they thought they’d go.
Anyone paying attention probably recognized Bowles’ approach and game management, as questionable and as painful as it can seem at times, has been the ONLY consistent thing in the BUCS’ 6 wins this season.
There’s not a single entity on the defensive side of the coaching staff that should considered for a firing.
The offense? That’s an entirely different story.
Okay…FULL CLIP.
This one didn’t meet the deadline. But I saw this tomfoolery and it’s just one of the WORST.

Some of the best(and WORST) of social media from BUCS players, fans and media as they head into Week 9 to face the New Orleans Saints.
There’s a WHOLE lot to love about the Team.
There may not be anything better than the feeling of security for the future though.
And the young Defense provides both upside and a sense of security due the young age and, more importantly, the maturity on that side of the ball.
What a difference a bit of stability and competence can do.
Grown folk thinking.
If you pray, pray to be worthy of what it is you desire.
If you don’t pray, don’t be offended and don’t be offensive.

So DOPE!!
That Tom Brady is a monster.
But, seriously…QBs get too much of the blame and too much of the credit.
This foolishness is routine.
The narrative is set.
There’s no going back.
For the record, Jones has 4 drops charged to him on the season.
