Can’t lie…This one got me. I thought this was the official Buccaneers account for about 30 seconds.

Enough to get excited about the possible helmet rule change that would allow the BUCS to have throwback games once again.

After frantically searching for additional sources to confirm what I saw, I realized that was a fan account that had taken the Buccaneers’ official account and mimicked the look.

Now, I wanna chokeslam this lil’ bastard like Kane circa 1997.

More followers.

More loyalists.

More experts.

“Slant-boy” still gettin’ killed.

Next season’s match-ups are gonna be so damn chippy.

I can hardly wait.

Early season doubts and struggles didn’t stop this cat from shining in the Playoffs.

And it’s SO easy to forget this this was just year 2 for the young fella.

The BUCS could still draft another CB that could push him for the full-time CB2 spot.

But, SMB’s resiliency was damn impressive to end the season.

If you’re anything like me, you can’t stand to watch these guys jump on tv and pretend to know everything about every situation every single day for more than 90secs.

These cats will say damn near anything to get attention and have something to talk about.

All the narratives surrounding Tom Brady that got parroted NEVER made any sense if you watched any of the happenings over the last 3 years in New England. And you didn’t even need to be a fan of the team either.

Their success or failure was highlighted EVERY DAMN WEEK.

Archo is just one of many former players that get called upon to parade and falsify their existence in the NFL as expertise.

I’m glad people are keeping those receipts.

There are 16 more days until the 2021 NFL season officially kicks off .

Keep on dancing.

Keep on celebrating the SUPER BOWL year that was 2020..

Some of the best(and WORST) of social media from BUCS players, fans and media as they head into Week 9 to face the New Orleans Saints.

There’s a WHOLE lot to love about the Team.

There may not be anything better than the feeling of security for the future though.

And the young Defense provides both upside and a sense of security due the young age and, more importantly, the maturity on that side of the ball.

What a difference a bit of stability and competence can do.

Grown folk thinking.

If you pray, pray to be worthy of what it is you desire.

If you don’t pray, don’t be offended and don’t be offensive.

Leave those that do be.

I watched the game 4 times.

One time was just to see the uniforms in action again.

So DOPE!!

That Tom Brady is a monster.

But, seriously…QBs get too much of the blame and too much of the credit.

This foolishness is routine.

The narrative is set.

There’s no going back.

For the record, Jones has 4 drops charged to him on the season.

He’s got a 71% catch percentage on 31 targets.

“Politics ruin EVERYTHING!”

Whose friend is this?!

The REAL age-less wonder in Tampa.

Well, him and Mons Venus.

The “Say Anything” media types strike.

The internet strikes back.

BREAKING:Brees is now the NFL All Time Leader in Touchdown Passes........Wait a minute....Now, Brady is again the All Time Leader.......

Missing vs NO:

7 turnovers on OFF including 6 Interceptions

So, New Orleans go from QB1 to QB3??

I’m all for it.

BOLD prediction: 4 INTs including 2 Pick-6s, 3 Sacks and 2 Forced Fumbles.

Mr. Tony Dungy is in large part the reason I still feel players’ character off the field is every bit as important as their playing ability on the field.

I wish more people felt the same and actually put that in practice rather than just talk.

Some of the best(and WORST) of social media from BUCS players, fans and reporters.

Manning with the inside scoop on the play calling.

Kinda impressive.

Fournette’s been keeping it G since day 1. He hasn’t held back one bit.

While I’ve got strong reservations about seeing McCoy on the field, he’s been helping keep Fournette together off the field.

That’s how it should be amongst teammates on and off the field.

Good to see.

Uh Ohhhhh…..He’s self-aware.

He’s still relatively quiet.

But he’s not pretending he doesn’t know how good he is and how good he could be.

That’s TROUBLE for the League.

THIS is why I was heavily against a “veteran presence” in free agency.

“Veteran Presence” has always translated to a more popular name anyways.

The young cats earned their right to continue learning and prove they can belong.

And they’re doing it.

BIG TIME.

This dude.

FINALLY…….The classic red jerseys make their return.

And this NFL Blitz may be coming back too.

It’s like 1997 all over again.

Ha!!!!

Ummmmmmm….Yea.

It’s good to see a sense of humor and a knowledge of gaming coming from Tom Brady.

Maybe keep away from the medical statistics though.

Sonic is wise.

Stay in your lane or get these Knuckles.

The dream is alive.

If the BUCS make it to the Super Bowl, regardless of the capacity limit in the stadium, I FULLY expect Tampa to be a hotbed of activity from visitors all over.

But that’s a long ways away. Up next…..New York Giants

They can’t all be winners….

One of the best EVER.

I’ve tried to tell ‘em.

This Defense had been held back all last season and even before that.

This Defense is something else, man.

Lots to be excited about.

Not only with what’s happening, but the future of some of the young cats.

Todd Bowles deserves a helluva whole lot of credit for his contributions.

I’ll be looking into that sooner than later.

One of the biggest offensive weapons ends up on IR for the 3rd time in 4 seasons.

He will be missed.

Especially with all the other injuries piling up.

OJBrady

6 Super Bowl rings or not, I can’t give him a pass for using “then” instead of “than”.

I know autocorrect is a mutha…..

But, get your s#*% together, Brady!!

It’s looking ugly.

On a short week, the BUCS may be without WR1 and WR2 for Thursday’s matchup in Chicago.

It’s an uphill battle.

But the train keeps rolling on.

Awwwwwwww!!!

They’re OUR guys.

But, if you can’t make light of their situations while hoping for the best for them AND looking for the best from them, it’s gonna be a much harder journey than it needs to be.

Brady was, more likely than anything, playing the game. Trying to work the refs.

Wirfs got beat by one of the League’s Top 2 defensive players.

It was a Christian McCaffrey stiff-arm that ignited Devin White’s ascension.

This could be the instance that makes Wirfs a different kind of focused player going forward.

And well, Smith is the whipping boy of EA Sports video game head coaches and virtual draft experts in BUCS fandom.

It was decided he’ll never be a legit left tackle in the League pre-draft.

Every instance of imperfection over the last 5yrs just validates that according to the angst of that crowd.

That and the notion “he just doesn’t look like he cares”.

(whisper) Ahhhhhh…It’s the elusive level-headed BUCS fan living amongst the wild.

Rare in its existence.

Beautiful.

As his counterparts scavenge the lands looking for bits of familiar instantaneous reaction and negative notions to sustain themselves, he remains calm.

Focused.

For he knows he must navigate his was through this wilderness for a minimum of 16 weeks.

He knows the journey is long. Often tiresome.

Repetitive with its challenges.

The ups and the downs.

He is prepared.

Astounding.

Well, sometimes he does tell the truth pretty straight forward.

Sometimes.

Whether it was the self-inflected penalties or the more-than-curious coaching decisions, there were enough issues on the BUCS side of things to focus on instead of the refereeing throughout the game.

Arguably, that 4th and 1 FG to go up 2 points rather than go for the touchdown gave Chicago as much life as the phantom “roughing the passer” call against Barrett.

I hate the former more because the BUCS had total control of that situation.

DamnDamnDamn2.gif

Going back to Week 3 of last season, I’ve said this defense is one Vita Vea injury from looking completely different.

While many still relegate his importance to just the run game, his presence on passing downs is even more outstanding.

He’s the only player on the defensive line the was routinely in need of being double-teamed by the opposition.

The LBs and the entire secondary ate off of that ability to get pressure up the middle.

Hopefully, Todd Bowles works some magic to make up for this HUGE loss.

Some the best Tampa Bay Buccaneers related social media posts and memes from players and fans.

So much for the “I’m never watching again” crusade that ALWAYS watches again.

IS TOM BRADY AN ELITE RB?

Miller Collision

Team in the huddle:

Tom: "Scooter, make sure you get over and give Smith a break"

Scooter: "Give Smith a rake? Got it!"

Donovan: "No, a break. Hit this guy"

Tom: "Right, hit it guys. Reaaaddddyyyyy break!"

Scooter: "RAKE!"

After one week of regular season play, there’s been a crazy amount of talk surrounding the downfall of the BUCS already.

From naysayers that hung around after their favourite QB was no longer wanted to the say-anything “experts” on television that don’t actually watch the games, it’s been a mess.

Hang on.

It’s gonna be a long ride. Don’t be a jump-ship chump.

Donovan Smith catching all kinds of hell…

Terrible game in Week 1….injury or not.

From here on in, I’m calling all Winstoneers “Michael Todds”.

You hoped that there was, maybe, 1 of 1.

But there are hundreds of them, it seems.

These cats just won’t go away.

Valid point. However, nothing from Week 1’s performance looked age-related.

Brady looked like a QB having an off game at times.

But he didn’t look slow. He didn’t look any more unathletic than he ever has.

One win will likely put a pause on the doubt and panic surrounding Brady.

Irony

The irony..

DOPE!

He’s been the topic of discussion since March. And it’s not gonna stop.

For better or worse.

But if the in this infographic holds true, would anyone care about him being the narrative in which everything BUCS related is tied to??

After the reaction from Week 1’s loss, it wouldn’t surprise me to see this level of tomf*ckery amongst the BUCS followers.

Keep watching…..

Some have already jumped off the ship. Or rather, some never expected anything to begin with.

Either way, it’s kinda funny.

“The Office” + The BUCS = Perfection…no matter the situation.

The two most talked about individuals after Week 1.

One of them hdd a terrible 1st half.

The other had a bad game by his standards.

The reactions to both are vastly different.

You had to know it was coming.

This bitter subset of BUCS stalkers have been waiting for 6 months for a QB in Tampa to have a bad game.

The fact that a QB had the same kind of bad game as the former starting QB in Tampa was just the thing they needed to feel validated.

All the while, the idol they follow mostly due to his stats, was standing on the sideline playing Flappy Bird on his Microsoft Surface tablet.

……………………..

I was 18.

Spending my first year away from home in college.

In Mendota Heights, MN.

Listening to Juvenile’s “400 Degrees” in 45 degree weather for the first time.

Somebody, somewhere is thinking this for real.

And they’re probably old enough to vote.

Scary as hell…ain’t it?!

You have to laugh. You most certainly can’t get upset about it.

People have wanted to see the downfall of these guys FOREVER.

Every chance they look less than invincible, it’s gonna draw attention.

For better or worse.

Another parallel many will try to make all season long: Arians VS Belichick

Just who really is a “QB Whisperer” ??

Different coaching styles emote different responses.

Let’s see how Brady handles what seems like open and constructive criticism. And how much does Arians, who’s had a tendency to coddle his QBs, pull back from openly critiquing his latest “pupil”.

Genius.

Screen Shot 2020-09-13 at 9.16.27 PM.png

It’s the “same old Bucs” trauma. If you’ve been a BUCS fan for a while, you’ve probably seen this many times.

The same old BUCS find creative ways to lose games.

The same old BUCS throw away opportunities.

The same old BUCS can’t get out of their own way.

We saw all three pop up in Week 1. However, it still feels so completely different.

Like, that was worst-case-scenario -and- it’s- unlikely- we’ll -see- that- often- if -at- all different.

At least, not all in the same game.

Serious business.

Context: The killer of narratives.

There’s usually a bright side if you’re looking for one.

Word.

There’s a long road ahead.

Arians' said “You’re not winning the Super Bowl this week..” and no one has.

Many of the mistakes can be corrected.

Some were just inexcusable.

Address them all and raise the bar going forward.

Hmmmmm……Interesting.
